The Simon Fraser Clan SB team playing its opening day of Preseason Play at the Nevada Desert Stinger Tournament split their opening day games. Under New Head Coach Tina Andreana (Oakville, Ont) the Clan won - they scored 15 runs allowing Minot State to score 7 runs. Ontario's Anissa Zacharczuk (Kitchener, Ont) had 5 IP, H8, R5, ER4, BB3 and SO 1. Amanda Janes (Brampton, Ont) AB 3, R 2, H 1 (home run) RBI 2, BB 1
In game two SFU went down to Texas Tyler - Texas Tyler 10 SFU 6

With Tina, Kirsten and Lana coaching SFU will likely become a dominant team. Couldn't ask for a better coaching team!!

In their first Pre-Season Tournament the Clan ended up with a 3 - 2 record.
