The Brantford Bobcats are very excited to announce they have partnered with Paramount Scouting Bureau to host a Softball Showcase May 18th as part of the Queen of the Diamonds Victoria Day Classic.
One of our goals when we moved our May tournament to Victoria Day was to expand the scope of what we were able to offer at our tournament. Working with Ron Vrana and PSB is an opportunity for us to provide local athletes a chance to participate in a well recognized and establish Showcase experience without the extra time and cost of travelling hundreds of miles across the border.
To make it easier to register we have added an eTransfer option for payment or you can pay online in US$.
You can register online here www.paramountscouting.com/showcases/register.php?SCID=000394 or by filling out the attached registration
About Paramount Scouting Bureau Showcases:
Nearly twenty years ago, PSB began running showcases to promote athletes to college coaches and professional scouts. At that time, a showcase was an event where players could display their talents by participating in skills demonstrations for speed, agility, and other sport-specific abilities. Today most events listed as showcases are nothing more than another tournament, or money-makers for the organizer, while the athletes walk away not knowing anything about their performance.
A PSB showcase is your opportunity to be seen by college coaches, determine where you stand in the recruiting process, and learn how you can improve your chances for success. Professional evaluators provide showcase participants with an unbiased evaluation for running speed, arm strength and throwing mechanics, pitching, fielding, catching and batting. You may perform at one or several positions. The primary purpose of a PSB showcase is to get a professional evaluation of your skills that your parents and you can use when contacting college coaches or when looking for a baseline to improve your skills. Following a showcase, you will receive a written evaluation of your performance.
