Slopitch Softball Hitting Clinics $289 (incl HST)
This 8 week Slopitch Hitting Clinic will equip you with the tools to be the hitter you've always wanted to be. Among the topics covered will be location in the box, hand positioning, timing, load and stride, effective hip rotation, bat push and finish. In addition we will work on hitting to all fields as well as the mental side of the game.
2pm-3pm: Women only
3pm-4pm: Men/Coed
Maximum 6 athletes per session
Athletes must supply own bat and helmet. Jock/Jill must be worn at all times. Turf or running shoes only (no cleats)

Instructor Bios
Coach Mindy (Mindy Wilson) After getting her start in softball as a youngster growing up in Newbury, Ontario, Mindy Wilson made the jump to Rep Fastpitch with the London Lightning. Mindy's pitching prowess, highlighted by her successes at numerous Provincial and Canadian Championships, led to her receiving a scholarship to play NAIA D1 softball at Brewton Parker College, in Mt. Vernon, GA. In Mindy's freshman year she won the GAC conference award for lowest ERA by allowing an ERA of just 0.46! After a distinguished College playing career Mindy made the shift to Coaching. From 1997 to present Mindy has helped hundreds of aspiring and accomplished pitchers enjoy the game and be their best. Mindy's passion, skill and unique ability to teach has seen her serve as both a Regional and Master Pitching Instructor for the Softball Canada CANPitch program.
Coach Neil (Neil Teague) Neil grew up in Milton immersed in Softball and Baseball. He is a decorated coach and former athlete, achieving multiple National, International & Provincial Softball titles and accolades both as a coach and a player. He is a proud Team Canada alumni, Ontario Softball Summit SPO Hall of Fame inductee (Class of 2017) and most recently was inducted into the Milton Sports Hall of Fame (Class of 2019). Neil's extensive knowledge of baseball and softball not only stems from his 40+ years as a player and coach, but also from his former career as National Brand and Promotions Manager for Combat Sports Group - Baseball and Softball Products Division. Neil is currently working towards his NCCP Competitive Coaching Certification as well as Softball Ontario Regional Pitching Instructor Certification.
