T-Ball (2014/15) - 5 week session
March 30, April 6, 13, 27, May 4 $119 incl. HST

Maximum 4 participants
Participants will learn the fundamentals of being a hitter. Instruction will focus on positioning in the batter box, focusing on the tee, developing a functional swing and proper hand placement on the bat.
Intro to Coach Pitch (2013) - 5 week session

Participants will learn the basics of being a hitter. Instruction will focus on grip, hand and foot placement, the load, hip rotation, staying in the plane, contact and follow through.

Maximum 5 participants
Instruction will focus on further developing the hitter through advanced drills and techniques. Athletes will develop not only better contact and more power, but will also learn the art of the bunt.
Athletes must supply own bat and helmet. Jock/Jill must be worn at all times. Turf or running shoes only (no cleats)

Intro to Throwing Mechanics (Baseball 2010-2012) - 5 week session

This series of clinics is geared to the beginner baseball player who wants to learn the correct way to throw. Through drills and fun games, Coach Sean will introduce the athletes to the correct fundamentals, including grip, foot work and mechanics, required to throw successfully and safely.
Pitching (Baseball 2008-2009) - 5 week session

This series of clinics will introduce the art of baseball pitching. Through drills, Coach Sean will introduce the athletes to the basic fundamentals, including grip, foot work and mechanics, required to become a pitcher.

Instructor Bios
Coach Mike (Michael Hook) is a Team Canada Jr and Sr Men’s Alumni. After a standout playing career with the Ontario Blue Jays organization - including as a member of the 1997 Ontario Blue Jays which reached the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, N.M. Mike was inducted into the OBJ Hall of Fame in 2015. Mike played 4 years NCAA Division 1 at Louisville where he was named All Conference 2 out of his 4 years and graduated with a Degree in Business. After a short stint in pro ball, Mike went on to gain extensive experience as both a hitting and pitching instructor at the famed, Pro Teach Academy.
Coach Sean (Sean Reilly) As a 17 year old hard throwing fire baller, Sean was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 1995 draft. Sean is a 4 time Intercounty Baseball League MVP and 3 time Intercounty Triple Crown title holder. Listed in Top 100 Canadian Baseball Players ever Sean is a great addition to our coaching ranks.
Coach Neil (Neil Teague) Neil grew up in Milton immersed in Softball and Baseball. He is a decorated coach and former athlete, achieving multiple National, International & Provincial Softball titles and accolades both as a coach and a player. He is a proud Team Canada alumni and most recently was inducted into to the Ontario Softball Summit SPO Hall of Fame Class of 2017. Neil's extensive knowledge of baseball and softball not only stems from his 40+ years as a player and coach, but also from his former career as National Brand and Promotions Manager for Combat Sports Group - Baseball and Softball Products Division. Neil is currently working towards his NCCP Competitive Coaching Certification as well as Softball Ontario Regional Pitching Instructor Certification.
Coach Johnny (Johnny Giunta) is from Milton, Ontario and began his baseball career playing with the Milton Red Sox organization. His career would continue in the Mississauga Majors and Tigers organizations where he played under Baseball Hall of Fame sports writer Bob Elliot as well as former Montreal Expo Andy Lawrence. Throughout high school Johnny played with the Ontario Nationals organization of the Canadian Premier Baseball league where he would play with and against multiple MLB draft picks. Johnny led his organization in Home Runs in 2 consecutive seasons with the Nationals which resulted in his commitment to continue his baseball career at McCook College in Nebraska. As the opening day starting first baseman in consecutive years; Johnny helped McCook achieve a school record in wins as well as a semi final appearance in the Region 9 tournament his freshman year. Johnny graduated McCook college with an Associates Degree in Science. Johnny is looking to purse a career in coaching.
Coach Jaime (Jaime Viera) has a Degree in Kinesiology from Guelph, a Diploma in 'Fitness in Health' from Humber College and a Masters degree in Kinesiology, specializing in bio mechanics from York University. Jaime is currently at York University working towards her PhD in Kinesiology, specializing in bio mechanics, where she recently presented her thesis focusing on the forces on the spine generated throughout the softball swing. Jaime has been an assistant coach for the Humber Hawks for the past 3 years. She has also coached 3 years with the Milton Bats Rep Softball program as well as 6 years with the Halton Hawks Softball program. Jaime is currently working towards her NCCP Coaching Certification. As a player, Jaime played 11 years Tier 1 rep softball with the Halton Hawks Softball Association. She then went on to play 3 years Humber College softball where she was named Humber College softball Rookie of the Year and became a OCAA Champion.
