The Hellas Softball Federation will hold an open tryout and selection camp on December 27-30 2018 in Temecula, California.
Participating athletes will vie for a spot on the 2019 Greece Women's National Team. Players that are U.S. or Canadian residents and have Greek lineage are welcome to tryout.
Selected players will have the opportunity to represent Greece at the European Women's Championship in July 2019 in Ostrava, Czech Republic, and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Africa/Europe Olympic Qualifier in September 2019. Greece will also participate in a North American Softball tournament in summer 2019.
The Cost is $150.00 US and advance registration is available online at www.greeksoftballnationalcamp.com. Players should bring catchers gear (if applicable), a glove, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/visor, batting helmet, elbow guards, cleats, turf shoes, a water bottle, bat and grey softball pants. ONLY grey softball pants will be allowed. Tryout will take place at Linfield Christian School.
